Heathrow Express App Reviews

How hard can it be?

Latest version of app. Cannot book tickets after numerous tries. Timeout error. Timetable buried in submenu, not easy to use, no live departure information, no geolocation, "travel notifications" misleadingly worded and contain spelling errors. Cannot add previously purchased tickets to passbook despite claim of passbook support. How hard can it be to get this app right?

Doesnt work

Cant book tickets. Deleted and redowloaded the app. Tried multiple times. Did you even test this app?

Still cant book!

Used to be so convenient, but unable to book tickets since last update. Please fix!

Crashes

Cant purchase tickets. Crashes every time I try to select the number of passengers.

Extremely slow / charges credit card without showing ticket

This current version is terrible. All aspect of it is slow. Moreover, it often just doesnt work. I just tried to buy a ticket - it charged credit card but cant retrieve the ticket. Tried again and it did the same thing.

Works Perfectly!

Fast, easy and accurate. Absolutely no problems. Enter the info hit the BUY button and in a second the ticket appears complete with an option to put it right into Passport. If there are 2 of you traveling at the same time make sure to enter “DUO12" as a promo code. Gives you 2 RT tickets for 50 pounds. An 18 pound discount! The return trip is good for 30 days after the initial use. They also send a receipt to your email address.

It seems to be working now

Several reviews say it doesnt work but there has probably been a fix and it seems up and running now. I just booked a ticket and it was very easy.

Horrific app

Tedious detail entry. Not tied to your online account. And wheres the Passbook integration? This is worse than some hackathon apps Ive seen put together in 12 hours.

Horrible

Dont even bother downloading it unless you live in the UK. I live in California but fly to London and take heathrow express more than 20 times a year but this app wont let you register unless you live at a valid UK post code. So.... Pointless for non UK residents Oh.. And app has been updated only once in more than two years.. So dont bother..just like they didnt bother.

Crappy UX

This app was designed for British users and is a piece of crap. Things like billing postal code only works if you enter in a UK one even if you select US as the country so I faked a UK one and it worked. So much for verification. The. I try to help them by submitting a suggestion only to be forced to enter a date which I pick off their pop up calendar and it shows up day, mo, year only to hit send and it doesnt work saying the format is wrong when it is not. Please test your stuff before annoying stuff like this happens.

Upgrade fiasco

Prior review highlights failure of supposed upgrade - app crashed repeatedly on two devices and had to be reinstalled - postal code does not work for non-UK addresses - no prior purchase history - no ability to save cards or address in advance One of the worst travel apps and a disgrace to a good service.

Crashes on iOS 9, worked great on iOS8

Upgraded to iOS9 and now the app wont load, reinstalled and nothing, hope an update is out soon.

Doesnt open in iOS 9

App wont open after upgrading to iOS 9. Glad I found this out when trying to buy tickets in advance versus trying to show my ticket on the train. Hopefully a fix is coming?

Crashes on launch in iOS 9.

App is unusable until they update it.

Crashes on iOS9

Like a few other customers, when I installed this after the iOS9 release it crashes across all my devices. I suspect the developers need to update this app to support iOS9. It’s good they have Passbook (now Wallet) and QRCode support as backups

Crashes on iOS 9

Crashes at launch 100% repro

Terrible

What is the use of an app that crashes every time you try to buy a ticket ? No need for it....

Wont open on iOS 9. .

Constant crashes

Uhhh

So this app blows. Crash city

Unusable after update

Crashes every use
